Debbie K., Advanced Dive Buddy

Favorite Place to Dive: cold water Hoodsport WA and warm Philippines

Why I became a Dive Buddy: I went to Cozumel on a Diveheart training trip. While there I met Louis who inspired me to become a dive buddy. The adaptive divers tell us how much this helps them, but really, they have changed my life. I am so grateful I met Louis and became an advanced dive buddy.

Something about yourself: I love to be creative in the art studio and the kitchen.

Mitchell K., Dive Buddy

Favorite Place to Dive: St Lucia

Why you became a dive buddy: I wanted to find a way to help my brother and sister veterans who are dealing with PTSD, and I believe in the power of scuba diving. Meeting the adaptive divers through Diveheart training has changed my life for the better, and I can't wait to keep giving back!

Something about yourself: I am a gamer and a veteran!

Scott O., Dive Buddy

Favorite Place to Dive: St. Lucia hands down

Year I started diving: 2015

Why you became a dive buddy: My mother was blessed with a caring heart, which she shared with me. During Safe Scuba’s open-house, my wife and I, knew in an instance that our calling was to experience and enjoy life with all those whom Safe Scuba was destine to touch, whether that was those in need of support or those that supported us.

Other Interests: taking pictures, working on computers, and competitive shooting
