Adaptive Diving

The ultimate goal is to become an Open Water Diver through a certifying agency such as PADI. This can be done through a local dive shop. We recommend using a dive shop that also certifies through Diveheart so they have a full understanding of the best training for you. If you are not able to do all of the needed PADI skills on your own that’s where your Adaptive Instructors and Dive Buddies step in to help you complete the required skills.

A Diveheart Adaptive Dive Certification will be completed at this point in your training. You will receive a Diveheart certification card that outlines your needed dive team.

Training Structure includes: PADI manual for understanding of basic dive skills, Diveheart manual for understanding of adaptive diver skills, pool sessions and open water dives. All done with your instructor and dive buddies.

Open Water can be completed in the Northwest or on a Diveheart or S.A.F.E. trip to a tropical location.

Call or email S.A.F.E. to get a full understanding of the training requirements.
