SAFE is excited to announce an opportunity for passionate, service-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors.
SAFE is a nonprofit organization dedicated to opening the world of scuba diving to people with disabilities. Through adaptive training, specialized equipment, and a supportive community, we help participants experience the freedom, confidence, and joy that the underwater world can bring.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking new board members who share our commitment to inclusion, safety, and adventure. Joining the SAFE Board offers the chance to:
Shape the direction and impact of our programs
Support outreach, fundraising, and community partnerships
Advocate for adaptive sports and accessibility
Bring unique skills and experience to a mission-driven team
We welcome candidates with backgrounds in nonprofit leadership, healthcare, diving instruction, adaptive sports, fundraising, finance, communications, or anyone simply passionate about our mission. Prior board experience is helpful but not required.
